La Patrona Polo & Equestrian Club Classes, Competitions, and Events

In October 2016, the La Patrona Polo & Equestrian Club opened their doors with numerous events, competitions, and classes, which are all open for members at the club and the general public as well. The polo club offers a variety of classes such as riding and jumping, classical dressage, and vaulting and driving. You can have an individual class or join a group class and each of the classes are designed to meet the skill level of each student. Beginners will start taking the basic level class, and in this class students will learn important basics such as horse discipline, controlling, directing, and obstacle jumping.

Advanced Riders: Jumping, Polo & Dressage Classes

Advanced riders will start a class that will focus on jumping, polo, and dressage specifics. The advanced rider’s class will also focus on different obstacle courses and improving their course times. The classes are an hour long, and everyone can attend a class, even children that are as young as six years old. If you are wanting to take a class, then you should contact the staff members at the La Patrona Polo & Equestrian Club so your spot will be reserved.

Horseback Riding Tours

The Equestrian Center also offers horseback riding tours that will take you through the jungle, on the beach, or through San Pancho town. The horseback riding tours are available to the public, and you don’t have to be an experienced horse rider  in order to go on a tour as they offer a short class before the horseback riding tour begins as needed. Can you imagine seeing Riviera Nayarit riding a horse? It’s a magical experience when you can see the beauty closely from the top of a horse. San Pancho is a small and quaint town in Mexico, and this beach town is ideal for horseback riding and is sure to be an experience that you will never forget.

Sunday Polo Brunch

Everyone in the family can enjoy the fun events that are regularly held at La Patrona Polo & Equestrian Club. The public is welcome to come, too. Usually, every Sunday during the winter and spring months, a Sunday Polo Brunch is held from 11:00am to 4:00pm where visitors can enjoy a delicious brunch while drinking mimosas. Visitors will also have an opportunity to watch a polo match as they enjoy their meal. During the rainy summer months (June-October), the Polo Club is closed for major events.
