Looking for a more peaceful setting? Conchas Chinas Beach is a great choice if you want a quieter beach and is located just south of downtown. Heads up that Conchas Chinas Beach doesn’t have any restaurant so you should plan ahead and bring a picnic lunch, blanket, chairs, and an umbrella with you. Another great beach to visit is Bucerias north of Puerto Vallarta. While the lack of reason during the winter causes the area’s rivers to get dry, when summer arrives so does rainy season which replenishes the rivers and swimming holes once again. Do you enjoy adventure and getting out into nature? Check out Palo Maria which is conveniently located just south of Puerto Vallarta across the street from the famous Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa.
